Customers pay a small flat fee to discover, claim, and organize ready-to-use agents. Builders pay by how many agents they keep listed — and the more you list, the lower the cut AgentShelf takes on each sale. Model, API, and usage costs are paid directly to your AI provider; every listing shows an estimated cost per run before you claim.
The fee applies to sales processed through AgentShelf, taken on the sale price after payment processing. A $189 one-time agent sold on Foundry nets you $177.66.
| Tier | Active listings | Fee per sale | Wanted board | Featured credits | Listing review |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bench | 1 | 12% | — | — | Required |
| Workshop | 5 | 9% | Yes | — | Required |
| Foundry | 25 | 6% | Yes | 2 credits / mo | Required |
| Studio | 100 | 4% | Yes | 5 credits / mo | Required, priority queue |
| Every listing is reviewed | No tier skips the quality review, Studio included. Listing counts are ceilings on what you may publish, not a bypass. Review takes about 2 business days. |
| The fee is on sales processed here | If AgentShelf only refers a customer to you and the sale closes elsewhere, it is a lead, not a transaction — that runs on a flat lead fee instead of a percentage. |
| Featured placement is credits | Featured slots are spent, not held. A credit runs one listing for 7 days. Unused credits do not roll over, which is what keeps the slot worth having. |
| Model costs are the customer’s | You never carry inference cost. State an honest average per run on the listing — understating it is the fastest route to refunds. |
| Listing limits count active listings | Drafts are free. Archiving a listing frees the slot immediately. |
